The meaning that the now-a-days Christmas seems to have sometimes forgotten. Not only to remind us, but also in such a way to as to teach the children of today the values and treasured traditions of what Christmas really means.
The story begins in this way. It is late one Christmas Eve and the whole house is sound to sleep all snug in their beds with visions of sugar plums in their heads. A sound awoke a little boy and his little sister. They heard something rustling around from down stairs. They sprang from their beds and quietly hurry down the stairs to see what the noise was all about. Their eyes grew wide with astonishment as they spied Santa dusting the chimney soot from his bright red suit and large red bag. Santa saw the children huddling at the top of the stairs from the corner of his eye. He turned to the children and with a big smile, he motioned them to come down the stairs with a wave and a wink of his eye.
Santa then reached in his bag and pulled out a beautiful Fir Tree and placed it before the mantle.
